Why has XMR Hashrate collapsed during Crowdbrick event?

I noticed, that there was a drop in the monero hashrate during the Crowdstrike event.

Timeline was roughly as following:

July 19, 2024, 04:09 UTC: CrowdStrike released a routine sensor configuration update for its Falcon sensor. This update contained a logic error that caused critical systems to blue-screen, effectively making them inoperable.

July 19, 2024, 06:30 UTC: Reports began to surface globally about Windows VMs experiencing blue screens of death (BSOD) and entering boot loops, rendering them unusable.

July 19, 2024, 08:00 UTC: CrowdStrike acknowledged the issue publicly and started to investigate the root cause. They identified the update as the source of the problem and recommended immediate steps for remediation.

July 19, 2024, 12:00 UTC: CrowdStrike issued an official statement detailing the issue and providing instructions on how to mitigate the effects. This included rolling back the update and manually fixing affected systems.

July 20, 2024, 04:00 UTC: CrowdStrike deployed a corrective update to resolve the logic error in the sensor configuration. They also provided continuous support to affected customers to ensure system recovery and stability.

July 21, 2024, 12:00 UTC: A comprehensive follow-up was released, detailing the technical aspects of the incident, the immediate actions taken, and the long-term measures implemented to prevent such issues in the future.

So there are multiple possibities:

A: Coincidence

B: Lots of Monero is mined on Windows where a Crowdsec agent is installed for legitimate purposes

C: Lots of Monero is mined on Windows where a Crowdsec agent is installed for nefarious purposes (Cryptominertrojan)

D: There is some critical windows infrustructure shared by legitimate miners

Since i'm having a Cybersecurity and Company-IT-Background i doubt, that people would mine Monero where Crowdsec agent is installed. I guess big mining farms for XMR would also not run Windows, but rather Linux, so i would rule out B.

For D, i could not possibly imagine what could that infrastrcuture be that would run Windows.

Leaves C and A for me.

What do you guys think? What am i missing?
Is Crowdsec really running on a lot of machines that mine XMR for nefarious purposes?
